About the Author

Paul Noble was born in South Australia in the mid nineteen fifties. His parents separated when he was just three years of age, and he was subsequently raised by his father, along with his three sisters and two brothers.

Paul grew up in the eastern districts of Adelaide where he attended Hectorville Primary School and later Norwood Technical high school. Although he was employed in a variety of jobs while growing up, Paul eventually went back to night school and gained his trade certificate as a welder. This was his mainstay of employment while raising his family.

Paul is married to Fay, and between them they have 4 children and 7 grandchildren. After 20 years as a trades person Paul decided on a career change and gained his Certificate 1V in Community Services which enabled him to gain employment as a Developmental Support Officer with the intellectually disabled.

This satisfied his passion to help people in need and he continued to work in this field for 8 years.

In 2002 Paul believed he was being called to further his professional development in the helping profession and in January 2003 entered Bible College. After 3 years as a full time student Paul gained the qualifications required for ministry.

Since that time Paul has worked as a minister of religion and is currently based full time in rural North Western Victoria where he is the pastor of two churches in two separate towns that are situated 50 klm apart.

Paul enjoys the challenge and faithfully travels the 50kms each Sunday conducting services at 9.00 and 11.00am.

Paul and his wife Fay are enjoying this chapter of their lives in this unique pastoral setting and hope to continue serving God in rural life for many years to come.

His first book, “Noble Spirit”, has been written as a source of encouragement and motivation for all who can relate to struggling with life's difficulties, and are seeking answers which will bring peace of mind in this life of uncertainty.

The book also contains historical data from a period of time which many will remember, from the fifties through to the seventies.
